Fibromyalgia and Me

I will be placing posts here with some details on how I cope with the fibro monster, plus links to some great pages I have found that others might be interested in reading from time to time.
Thanks for reading and I hope it helps you to gain more understanding of this illness. :-)

The link below has a very interesting article with ideas for those out of control fibro and exhaustion days.

I am one of the lucky ones who has family and friends who do sincerely believe that fibro isnt in my mind and dont treat me like a lazy hypochondriac, but I know many people throughout my support groups that do struggle with proving even to their doctors that their illness does exist. So this is for you girls (and guys), for those of you who feel you need to justify yourselves every time you are too sore to get out of bed, too sore to do housework, too sore to want to carry on sometimes, there is HOPE! They are finding reasons and causes for our chronic pain, hopefully one day there will be more help than just understanding and "bandaid painkillers"

Doctors confirm that Fibromyalgia is not imaginary!

Another site that is talking about nerves in the hands being part of the cause.
